Subject: [Tweeters] Caspian Terns

What is the situation with Harbor Island? Caspian Terns, according to my records, arrived quite early this year at West Point and small groups are actively feeding. I have seen various terns heading south over Magnolia Village with fish athwart their bills. Is there a possibility of a nesting colony starting? Or could this be for courtship feeding and then the birds head out for the Columbia River spoil bed nesting areas? DH
