Dear Tweeters,

Oh, my gosh, I have a new yard bird! A Lazuli Bunting sat just outside my
window this morning for a five plus minute viewing. What a beautiful bird.
I live just off Box Canyon Rd approx. 2 miles south; about a 15 minute
commute to the park.

In the meantime, I have one particular window that is assaulted each spring
by various birds. This year I started with Dark-eyed Junco (interestingly
enough, the female was the main defender/aggressor while the male watched),
White-breasted Nuthatch, Western Tanager, Mountain Chickadee, and the
Black-headed Grosbeak.
