Hi, a couple of odds and ends from recent days.
IBIS- 4 dark IBIS, flying east from the west end of Brady Loop Road to points unknown today, 12 May at 5:30pm. I assume they were White-faced Ibis, but never caught up to them after the initial flyover.
BAND-TAILED PIGEON- 120 or more visiting the manure pile behind the farm buildings on Keys Road near Hwy 12 on 8 May.
SEMIPALMATED PLOVER- Up to 350 on the north shore of Grays Harbor for much of late April/early May.
RED KNOT- numbers from 500 to as many as 4000 in the northern portions of Grays Harbor for the past few weeks.
WHIMBREL- Hundreds in the fields just west of Devonshire Road along Hwy 12 on multiple days since late April. 100+ today, with a high of 300 or so on 28 May.
SNOW GOOSE- 2 birds last seen 4 May at the mouth of the Humptulips River.
