Hey Tweets...I have a friend whose brother and sister-in-law run a wildlife
rehab facility in Florida...mostly mammals but the occasional bird does need
attention. Their latest is a White-throated Swift, and I have been asked for
my input as to how and where to release it. My suggestion, only half joking,
was to find someone to hand carry the bird to Phoenix or L.A. or some other
SW location.

Now that I have thought more about it, what is done when such an event
occurs? Is it feasible to ask someone to carry a bird on a flight across the
country? Is it even allowed? What about a fast drive across country? What is
the protocol on this?
