Hi! Today they are covering my back yard, and they are also all over the neighboring trees......It is a battle ground in the back, and my Black Headed Grosbeaks are hiding out, sneaking in when the Evenings take a quick break......I think the Pileated is even hesitant to come now!(just kidding~~sort of!) I am well over the 100 mark, maybe 150 or more, minimum, I counted 100 just where I could see them , not including the trees, where I hear them chattering away, on such important issues, probably concern the seed may be running low; or whatever it is they converse about with such fervency!
