Subject: [Tweeters] Band Tailed Pigeon in Shelton

Wonder if those Band Tailed from Renton are moving south...Had one at my
feeder. Perched precariously in my fruit tree, attempted to get at the seed
in a feeder designed for chickadees. Ruffled it's nape (wonderful green and
white) in disgust and flew to my cherry tree where it could observe other
opportunities. I got a very good view of the yellow/orange feet and beak,
muted blue/grey feathers. It moved on, towards the lake, after realizing how
truly pathetic my anthropogenic attempts at providing food and water really
were....what a wonderful sighting....
