Hello Fellow Tweeters,

This afternoon (May 14) about 4:30 Bill and I were enjoying the
clearing skies over our tiny "south Maple Leaf" back yard in North Seattle.
Periodically, a cloud of mixed Violet-green Swallows and Vaux's Swifts
floated over, some quite low, some several hundred feet high. The swifts
were a new "yard" bird for us. Earlier, Bill had been at the CUH (Montlake
Fill). He photographed a Western Wood-Pewee in the trees near the Southeast
Pond. We saw this or a similar bird last Saturday in the large trees by the
swing set frame as well.

Cheers, Charlotte Byers, Seattle
