Greetings All,
This morning I made it out to Nisqually for an early pre work visit. Apparently the change in weather has brought a new influx of migrants. There was lots of activity and lots of mixed species warbler flocks. I was only on site for about an hour so who knows what else might be around. Among the better sightings were a first of season pair of WILSONS PHALAROPES and 2 NASHVILLE WARBLERS. Three teal species and lingering White-fronted goose (1) and Cackling Geese (8) were among the dwindling numbers of waterfowl.
Good birding?
Bill Shelmerdine, Olympia.
