my first-of-season black-headed grosbeak just showed up on my seed feeder for the first time this year. i have to admit, i had bird envy hearing that everyone else's BHGRs were at hand, and had been for a while now... i hope that, if history is any indication, i will have at least one full family for the next six months :)
