I will be in Seattle for a professional conference
during the first few days of June and will be joined by a friend for
three days of birding thereafter (June 3, 4 & 5).? As I've never
been to the Seattle area before, I'm looking for your advice.?

I
would particularly love to find some alcids.? Your Northwest crow and
Vaux's swifts would also enhance my life list.? I know alcids can
sometimes can be seen from the various ferries.? We've contemplated
working the northern edge of the Olympic peninsula and/or spending a
night somewhere in the San Juan islands.

Your thoughts and ideas are most welcome.? Feel free to reply "off-line."
