Subject: [Tweeters] Strange Call

Twice I have heard at dusk at our cabin in Cle Elum (above 3,000') a new
call that sounds something like "ko-key." It is a bit like the frog in
Jamaica, but a little lower in tone and it seems to be moving like a bird.
Could it be a call I'm not familiar with or perhaps there is a frog with
that sort of call?

Also we are seeing more Calliope hummers at the feeder this year. Anyone
else seeing that? Our Cowbird population seems to have exploded which is
distressing because we have lots of nesting MacGillivray's and Nashville's.
