Evening Grosbeaks are evidently everywhere in the northwest!!! We haven't seen numbers like this in years and OR is reporting the same.
Ellensburg, Wenatchee, Cashmere, Leavenworth (Birdfest) - we were never out of hearing these birds this last weekend - along with Cedar Waxwings in many spots.
Walla Walla has been flooded with grosbeaks for a couple weeks now - can't keep up on the sunflower seeds!!
Also had two EC Doves near George and another pair west of Hwy 17 coming from Potholes Res. New Grant Co. bird for us.
