Gave up birding at Midway Beach at Grayland this afternoon in high winds and water and turned around to find a mixed flock of Red and Red-necked Phalaropes in with about 6 or 7 Pectoral Sandpipers in the flooded roadway we just walked down. They fished in 2-8 inches of water for 30 minutes while I took a few images. Check them out at ? ??http://www.flickr.com/photos/37079820 at N07/?saved=1 ? ? ? if you're interested.?
