Hi, Tweets! What a sighting!!! And, a life bird for me. Today, Sat.,
May 23rd at approx. 11:15 a.m. we saw one Ibis on the causeway going
across the middle of the lake. (This is Lincoln Co.) We watched it for
about 20 min., until it was spooked by a airplane flying low the length of
the lake! It flew west, but hopefully it is still in the area. The bird
list for this area lists it as uncommon in spring. Sure made my day!
P.S. Several volunteers were working on one of the viewing blinds, and
the restroom is open. Meredith Spencer, Bridgeport, Wa. 98813
