On a brief drive-by of the ponds along 12th st. NE (just N of the Everett Sewage Ponds) this morning saw a single Western Kingbird. Also a single male Blue-winged Teal. Very quiet otherwise -'just' a few Mallards. Really, is there anything more spectacular than a Mallard !
