I haven't seen any recent reports about red crossbills still around, so I though I'd mention that six have showed up at our feeder in Burien, just north-west of SeaTac airport, the last two days.? One is a male that still has quite a few yellow feathers, mixed in with the red.? It's makes for an interesting photograph.
