Though still not present in large numbers, Eurasian Collared-Dove has been
present in Benton since 2006. There have been recent sightings in Horn
Rapids County Park (Benton City), Kennewick, & Prosser. This is the first
for Vernita.

Not sure how fast these doves have made it to the Counties I list above. I
did have a singing bird at Vernita Rest stop in Benton Co and one at a house
near the intersection of Hwy 241 and Eli Rd, Yakima Co. this morning.
