We did our breeding bird survey in Franklin County this weekend. We had a
couple of surprises for our route. We had singing and visual of Grasshopper
sparrows in at least three locations. We had them in one location several
years ago. We also had an Eurasian Collared Dove on the line in the
residential part of Connell, WA. First for our count. We had one at our
feeder in Benton County a couple of years ago so they are getting around.
