Today I stopped at a few places in Kent after work, best find 2 newly hatched Coots in a very cattail lined pond on the west side of Riverview Blvd (I think I'm close on the name).? It is off of 212th, the road that connects to Orillia which connects with I-5.? This road has its own stoplight.

The most reliable spot for breeding Coots in the south end of King County for me is what I call Southcenter Coot Pond.? I have no idea the true name of this pond.? If you walk up to the Green River Trial from the Costco parking lot, turn left and it is short ways
