This morning at Crockett Lake on Whidbey Island there was a SNOWY
PLOVER with a group of Dunlin, just west of the pilings in the middle
of the lake. Also present were the continuing pair of Marbled
Godwits, a pair of Red-necked Phalaropes, and a Common Tern.

In the marsh north of Sunlight Beach Road there was a HUDSONIAN GODWIT
foraging in the slough.

Elsewhere there was an American Bittern in the marsh on Ewing Road, a
singing House Wren at Rosario Head, 730 Great Blue Herons from March
Point, and seven male Lazuli Buntings at Northern State Recreation
Area near Sedro-Woolley.

I ended up finding 113 species on the day including the surprising
total of 14 shorebirds.
