Many of you, including some in the Olympia area, are reporting oodles and gobs of Evening Grosbeaks. (I believe 10 oodles = 1 gob, but I'm not sure of the latest additions to the metric system.) I have asked you all repeatedly to shoo your grosbeaks over to our feeder here on the west side of Long Lake, but so far with no results. Really, people, I am getting a bit impatient! I'd appreciate it if you would pay more attention to some of your tweeterly duties. In return, I am willing to shoo a lot of Band-tailed Pigeons in your direction, and we also have many Mallards and Wood Ducks, if you happen to have the appropriate environment for them.

Cheers and thanks,
Burt
