I don't recall the year, but several of us visited a feeder in Seattle to watch a Rose-Breasted Grosbeak.? Sorry I don't remember the details, but someone out there in Tweeterland will probably recall more.

?Chris et al
???? In answer to your question--on Saturday May 16, Ruth Sullivan and I observed a singing female Rose-breasted Grosbeak at Ocean Shores.? If I remember correctly, Ruth stated that this was the first of this sp. she has seen in Western WA.? It is the first for me on the west side, but I just moved to WA in Feb.?
??? My only other PNW sighting was on May 16, 1998 at Malheur NWR in SE Oregon.? This bird remained for about a week.? In Oregon one or two show up almost annually.
???? Good birding, Mike
?

Has anyone else spotted a RBGR in Washington before?
Thoughts? Thanks!
