I don't know how much of the data in this table is really useful. The table shows that the oldest Manx Shearwater they banded is 4 years 10 months (which is probably close to the average lifespan), whereas the following acticle claims that one particular wild bird has lived to 55 years of age: http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=99023308. The longest living Manx in England was rebanded at just over 40 years.
