It's a violent world out there at night.??A Barred Owl sailing across East Bay Blvd in Gig Harbor hung itself on a tree branch and died.? At least that is my take.? It's a?rather dramatic sight as you drive down the road, reminding me of the coyotes that farmers hang on their fences.? There is no trauma to the bird except some ripped talons which I presume were injured as it tried to extricate itself.? I have photos if anyone wants to see a sad sight, but a very well illustrated owl.?
