Hi Tweets,

Its been pretty slow at the Fill the last couple of weeks. Most of the birds seem to be keeping a low profile. My guess is, their sitting on eggs. Of course some of them have hatched and those parents are pretty busy keeping their offspring fed and teaching them the way of the world. I have heard that no chicks are left from the of the first batch of Pied-billed Grebes that hatched a few weeks weeks ago on the Southwest Pond. Those adults seem to be building another nest in a new area, if at first you don't succeed.... There is another set of Grebe chick floating around at the Fill and I hope they make it.

I've posted a few photos of my recent wanderings at: http://www.flickr.com/photos/birdhouse_wa/sets/72157619076702670/<http://www.flickr.com/photos/birdhouse_wa/sets/72157619076702670/>

Good Birding
