The day after a great WOS field trip in eastern Washington (Tim O'Brien's Spokane County Big Day on Nov 1), we returned to Turnbull WLR and found 8 Greater Yellowlegs in a shallow pond at the end of the car loop....had good, long looks at 7 preening and sleeping out on the rocks, with one actively feeding nearby.
