Took a quick look between the rain drops and found a Towhee foraging
around under the brush. Shortly after that there was a darkening and
a torrential downpour. It appeared to be 5:30pm at 12:00 noon!

The Stellar Jays are enjoying the feeders here. I have filled them
twice this week. Earlier last week there were more Juncos than I
could count ground feeding.

Driving through Yelm I spotted at least 20 crows who were feeding
under a light sprinkle at Mountain Shadow subdivision this late
morning. The whole back portion of that block was a field three to
four weeks ago. The homes are still incomplete. Five or six new homes
have shot up in the past month.
