Hi Tweets,

Grab your gloves and your binoculars, it's that time of year again ...
Christmas Bird Count!

We have recorded an average of 121 species in the 7.5 mile radius CBC
circle since 1976. In the last four years, we have had some interesting
surprises like Cassin's Auklet, Trumpeter Swan, Rock Sandpiper,
Townsend's Solitaire, Common Redpoll and Red-naped Sapsucker. You never
know what will show up!

This year's Seattle Christmas Bird Count will be held on Saturday,
December 26th. To learn more and to sign-up online, please visit
http://www.seattleaudubon.org/sas/WhatWeDo/Science/CitizenScience/Christ
masBirdCount.aspx. We encourage you to join us for what will be another
great count!

There is a $5 fee, payable to your trip leader on the day of the count.

Registration will close on December 18th.
