My name is Josh Covill, 17, and I am from Flathead County, in MT.? My family is taking a trip to Tacoma next weekend!?

We will be getting in sometime in the afternoon of the 20th and leave midday the 22nd.? I am SUPER excited to see some of the coastal birds around the area!!? This will be my FIRST trip the the Pacific (well we will be on the sound anyway)?and I can't wait to get lifers like Bushtit, shorebirds, and maybe Black Scoter or maybe Black-tailed Gull

I have a list of target birds I am hoping to get, and if anyone can help by giving directions to likely areas, that would be much appreciated!!!?

1) Any pelagic (got Fulmar off of New Hampshire coast)

5) Black Scoter
6) Black Oystercatcher
7) Black Turnstone
8) Surfbird
9) Rock Sandpiper
10) Jaegers
11) Western Gull
12) Heermann's Gull
13) Black-legged Kittiwake
14) ANY Alcids
15) Band-tailed Pigeon
16) Red-breasted Sapsucker
17) Bushtit
18) Bewick's Wren
19) Golden-crowned Sparrow ((my favorite sparrow and my last Zonotrichia to get))
20) Hutton's Vireo
21) Purple Finch

I am really excited about the water, sea and shorebirds.? In a pinch for time, I can pass the landbirds, but I want to focus on the shorebirds and seabirds.??? Also, has anyone seen the Black-tailed Gull lately?

I can travel up around the sound and areas, also we are most likely taking a fairy ride, but don't know which one to take.? Which fairy would you suggest that has the most opportunity for birds?
