Subject: [Tweeters] Black-tailed Gull may have moved on

Shep, Tweeters,

I went out again around mid-day today and looked for the Black-Tailed Gull
from the NE 5000 viewpoint without success. Shep and Charlie may be right,
but it also could still be around. It did not seem to be associated with any
California Gulls in particular, just with the gull flock in general. There
were fewer gulls on the main log boom today, almost half as many as
yesterday. The light was excellent for viewing, but several suspects showed
me their white tails. It would appear that a lot of gulls were out feeding.
I did have a pair of MARBLED MURRELETS and PIGEON GUILLEMOTS each at Browns
Point today.

If i may suggest, that any birder locating the gull would please post it! I
will continue to look for it for the next few days.

Good birding!
