Tweets - Lillian Reis sent me a quick text message this afternoon that the
MOUNTAIN BLUEBIRD at Marymoor Park was still around. I raced down and got
there not a moment too soon. I had just gotten to the East Meadow and did a
quick scan. The bluebird was atop the birdhouse at the north end of the
East Meadow. I watched for no more than 30 seconds before the bluebird took
off, flying strongly to the northeast. The crows were beginning to gather
together for the evening at the same time (about 3:45), so I expect the
bluebird was heading to a night roost and may be back in the East Meadow
tomorrow morning.

It's a very nice looking bird.

At the south end of the East Meadow was a NORTHERN SHRIKE, a species we
missed on Thursday.
