hi group ...

every morning I sit and watch the yard while eating breakfast,
checking out EVERY Robin-like bird which appears, one day hoping it
would be a Varied Thrush ... I actually did see one in the yard about
2 years ago so I knew it would be possible ... well, this morning was
no different ... except THERE WAS ONE !!!!!!!!! ... almost fell out
of my chair ... then I had to grab the camera (which naturally was
still in its case as I really didn't expect to get anything) while
repeating over and over to the bird "stay, stay, stay, good boy,
stay" ... managed TWO pix before he/she flew off !!!!!! ... YES
!!!!!!! ... my 42nd photographed yard bird !!!!!!!!!

pix isn't much, shot thru a double-paned plate glass picture window
on an overcast day ... but it's "proof" !!! (GRIN) ...
