Interesting observation on Greater White-fronted Goose (GWFG).? This year in Snoqualmie Ridge, I have had a group of eight GWFG seen twice feeding near Eagle Lake (today was the second sighting, the first about a week ago).? In seven previous years the only GWFG seen near my house or neighborhood have been groups flying over in migration, none on the ground until this year.

A good morning in the?Lake Hills Greenbelt in Bellevue?this morning. In field north of SE 16th there were about 50 Canada Geese and one GREATER WHITE-FRONTED GOOSE among them. This is the first GWFG sighting in the greenbelt since 3 seen 1/11/1990.

A coyote was in a grass field along the trail north of SE 16th and before you get to Audubon Pond.

In the conifer woods where we have seen Barred Owl before I saw and got photos of a GREAT HORNED OWL. It is a first for the greenbelt. I found it by tracking a large mob of crows harassing it.
