Josh,

You might jump on the ferry Rhododendron at Point Defiance and make the
quick run to Vashon Island. I was there last Wednesday and enjoyed Cormorant
watching. It's not for everyone but there's an old broken down pier right
next to the ferry dock at Tahlequah that has become a favorite for
Double-crested Cormorants and a small number of Brandt's Cormorants. There
are probably Pelagic Cormorants around as well. I saw a couple at the ferry
dock on the north end of the island.
