The Hawk or Merlin earlier this week has not re-visited. There are
two or three squirrel nests nearby so I will be watching them in the
future.
The Junco's he [Hawk or Merlin] enjoyed are foraging under a thicker,
brushier cover.
A Fox Sparrow visited the bird bath. He hopped around the edge a bit
before he dove in and wrestled around in the water. I was able to
stand within 6' of the bath and inch forward as he turned his back to
me to snap a few quick photos. I see now why the water runs out! He
was a messy bather.
I noticed a lone gull flying north easterly over the canal and across
a field which is situ (North of the City of Yelm). I thought that
odd. I have NOT noticed any gulls in the inner City of Yelm as in
other cities like Lakewood in Pierce County.
There is a flock of ? pigeons that circle near AM/PM in Yelm.
