Do you have a picture of these "woodpeckers"?



If the birds you viewed "looked" similar to the drawing you have of a Ivory-billed then it is a Pileated Woodpecker. It is quite?impossible for it to be one let alone a?pair of Ivory Billed Woodpeckers, you do know that much, right??



The best suggestion is to use the Internet or?bird books?and read about woodpeckers?- extinct, near extinct,?or otherwise - not just look at the pictures. Pictures can be misleading in a lot of cases. I think you will find that these were Pileated woodpeckers if they were indeed woodpeckers.
