Well, like I said, I needed to see a Golden-crowned Sparrow before I left. I love sparrows and especially the zonotrichia sparrows.

This morning I walked around a few blocks in Parkland, south of Tacoma where we were staying.

In a large, thick cedar-like tree, I saw BEWICK'S WREN!!! Another lifer!!!! In that same tree I heard and finally located 2 sparrows. GOLDEN-CROWNED SPARROWS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WOO HOO!!!! Lifer number 7 for the trip!! This was so amazing!!!

Other good birds of the day: Chestnut-backed Chickadee, Spotted Towhee, Anna's Hummingbird, and I heard a single Bushtit.

Thank you all again for such great help. I had a great trip.
