At 12;40 pm today Monday 11/23, I found a single winter plumage RED
PHALAROPE at Dash Point looking west from the dock about 200 yards of the
point. It was in the vicinity of three Horned Grebes and actively feeding.
By the time I got my scope out of the car. it had disappeared. I relocated
it just off the west side of the dock in company of a subadult
Bonaparte'sGull. I took the scope to the end of the dock and now had both
birds only about seventy five yards out. At times I had both of them in the
scope together. The phalarope was bobbing and spinning in their species
manner. A RHINOCEROS AUKLET appeared close by and a couple of male
WHITE-WINGED SCOTERS, three female GREATER SCAUP and a single female RED
-BREASTED MERGANSER flew by.

American Crow
American Robin

Also had a single Pigeon Guillemot of the Brown's Point Lighthouse. I did
check for the Black-Tailed Gull without success.
