I'm late in reporting this, but Wednesday last I was delighted to find
a little flock of 5 Hooded Mergansers gracing the bay at the Mt Baker
Rowing Center (aka Stan Sayers Pits). Very flashy, especially when a
flock of incoming Canada Geese flew directly over them; the 4 males all
raised their hoods in reply.
