In Phinney, on Friday, a blue-banded Sharp-shinned Hawk visited the yard. Suprisingly, it let me walk right up to it without flushing. I suspect it's the same hawk that has been hunting the juncos and chickadees in the yard. I am down to 3 chickadees (from 4) that regularly visit and no more pidgeons.
