Subject: [Tweeters] Carnation Marsh: one Swamp Sparrow

Hi Tweets,

After unsuccessful chases for the Neal Rd (Fall City) Rusty Blackbird (*I
picked through the flock multiple times at 9:45am and again at 12:45pm*) and
assorted sparrows this morning, I went to Carnation Marsh where I ran into
John and Trisha Tubbs. Only after they left (sorry guys!) did I hear one of
Ryan Merrill's Swamp Sparrows calling emphatically from up the road. It
quickly perched on top of some Red Ossier Dogwood about 15 ft south of the
road for smashing views.

For a map, visit: http://maps.google.com/maps?&daddr=47.627588,-121.936176.
Look for the osprey platform. There is a stream that goes directly out from
the road. The Red Ossier Dogwood where the SWSP was perched was immediately
to the right of the stream, about 15 ft off the south side of the road.

Cheers,

Adam
