Have to share my enjoyment! A couple days ago, I arose to a yard full of Varied Thrushes of which I've not seen since last winter. They have been hanging around the neighborhood and today were at full bore in my yard and at my little bird pond - probably 15 to 20 of them. There was one particularly interesting one. Was marked exactly like the rest of them except where the others were orange, it was white and the others kept chasing it away. Wish I could have gotten a photo of it but they are just too shy.
Fall is fun, too.
