If any of you have been wanting a copy of this book but have been
discouraged by the price, there are some remaindered copies at the
University Bookstore in Seattle, missing the partial paper cover.

Hello Tweeters,
I was excited to learn that Paul Bannick's book, The Owl and The
Woodpecker, was selected as one the five finalists for the 2009
Washington State Book Awards in the General Non-Fiction Category.
It is an excellent book, and I still find my friends seeing it for the
first time, wanting a copy right away. I will probably be getting more
for holiday gifts again this year, as some family members that were NOT
interested in it before they saw it, now tell me they want one for
Christmas.
I always get my copies from the author himself, as it can be
autographed.
