Subject: [Tweeters] Duwamish head shorebirds

Hey all,

Got back out to check out the shorebirds working the rocks at Duwamish Head. There were more, and they were making more noise, and also taking flight more often, so I was able to get a good ID on Black Turnstones. White patch in the middle of the back helped the most.

I had about 20 of them out there, and a few people have emailed me to say that they also saw Surfbirds (50!) out there in West Seattle - great time to go if you don't mind the drizzle!
