Tweets - I dashed over to the grange near Cle Elum (see Bob Sundstrom's
posts for more details), and despite 30 mph bitterly cold winds, I was able
to find the NORTHERN MOCKINGBIRD quickly, sunning itself amongst the choke
cherries. What a scruffy-looking bird!

Swauk Prairie still hosted about 8 WESTERN BLUEBIRDS.

I then headed to Wenatche, and birded a much warmer and calmer Wenatche
Confluence park. Best bird was a GREAT EGRET, just downstream of the river
mouth, but I also had killer looks at the adult PEREGRINE FALCON that hangs
out there, as well as two OSPREY still hanging around. Also, at the beach
area adjacent to the Conflunce park (near the soccer fields), there were two
juvenile GREATER WHITE-FRONTED GEESE.
