Hello Tweets,
The two Sharp-tailed sandpipers indirectly reported for the Toysmith mitigation pond east of Hwy 167 and 277th in Kent were still there this morning. I was birding at the Kent Ponds when Gene Hunn called to tell me of the report from yesterday, and I drove over quickly. Just as I got onto one bird, Gene arrived, along with Carol Schulz, and we all eventually got great looks at the 2 Sharpies. With these juvenile birds were 6 (juvenile) Pectoral sandpipers, 3 Long-billed dowitchers, a Greater yellowlegs, and 3 Wilson's snipe.
