Hi Tweeters,

It must be fall because while looking for the Sharp-tailed Sandpiper a large flock of about 400 Cackling Geese flew directly overhead.?

I ran into John and Birch Puschock there and Tom Mansfield joined us.? Just as John was ready to leave, sandpiperless, Tom found one for us, thank you Tom.? I have only been told I have seen a Sharp-tailed before so this is counting as my lifer.? Thank you to Curtis too, who left me a message yesterday.?

The best lighting at this location is in the afternoon/evening.

Great way to end a great (mostly nonbirding) weekend.
