Birded a couple of local spots today and found the following:



Stanwood, Hwy 532, 1/4 m. east of Island Co. line

650 Dowitchers, but could not find ANY other shorebird in the wetlands!



Island Co, at pullout just past county line

50 Killdeer in the plowed field north side of highway, no plovers


Big Ditch, just north of Stanwood

Nothing found of interest



Game Range (Wylie and Moberg intersection)

Am. Pipit

50 Killdeer in plowed field, no plovers



Fir Island Road Skagit, Hayton Preserve

2 Greater Yellowlegs

Thousands of Snow Geese in the area



Jenson Access, 4pm, close to low tide, birds quite far out

At least 2 Am. Golden Plovers remaining from yesterday

2 Pectoral Sandpiper

40 Least Sandpiper

2 Western Sandpiper

Many Black-bellied Plover

2 SB Dowitcher
