Hey Tweeterland,

The uber-tame Lapland Longspur found by Shep Thorp was easily found at the Brown's Point lighthouse between 9:30 and 10:30 this morning. The first time I saw it, I was walking along the path near the white posts when I almost stepped on it. At one point I was able to crawl within 5 feet for some great close-ups. It was mostly around the picnic benches on the left (south) side, although at one point it sat on top of the lighthouse and then the small, nearby white building. A lot of sparrows were around as well. I had White-crowned, Gold-crowned, Song, Lincoln, House and Towhee.

A quick stop at Thomas Ponds around 11 yielded only a Killdeer and 2 Long-billed Dowitchers.
