Hello All,
The last couple of weeks there has been a flock of Western Bluebirds along South Prairie-Carbon River Road on the west side of South Prairie. Today there were a couple fewer Western Bluebirds, but they were replaced by two female Mountain Bluebirds. I don't know of many western WA fall records in the lowlands. There has been a bigger presence than usual of this species in the Mount Rainier area this year, so maybe they were pushed down by this weather.
